i posted this on myspace a few years ago thought that i would put it up here too...its pretty funny....

 Read this with the song 'Hotel California' in mind.

 On that dark Dickson highway

The kids in my hair

The warm smell of food risisng up though the air

up ahead in the distance

I saw a shimmering light

My head was pounding my nerves on edge

I had to stop before there was a fight.

 The greeter stood in the door way

and i heard of a sale

I remember thinking to myself, this could be heaven or this could be hell

the greeter gave me a cart

and showed me the way

there were toys down the ile

I thought I heard them say...

Welcome to the Walmart Super Center

Such a lovely place

What a lovely place

Plenty of flowers at the Walmart Super Center

any time of year you can find them here

 My mind was distracted by all the sales

They got a lot of pretty pretty cloths that I dont need

How they work in the parking lot

the carts they have to get

some work to remember

some work to forget

 So I call to my son

Please bring me my wallet

He said,'they havent had that price since 1999'

And still i can hear some music calling from farway

it follows up the middle of the ile

thought i heard it say....

I'm living it up at the Walmart Super Center

what a nice surprize

bring  your credit cards

 Security cameras on the ceiling

pink salmon on ice

another customer said, 'we are all just prisoners of our own device'

And in the managers office there gathered for the meeting

They write on it with their special pen, but they just can beat the price.

 The last thing I remember I was headed for the door

I had to find my path back to the place I parked my car

'Relax', said the checker 'we are trained to please'

'You can check out anytime you like but you can never leave'
