It does feel good to get back into shape. I've been exercizing and rock-a-by-baby-ing all month and I've lost some pounds and gained back a little confidence! My daughter is a month and a couple weeks old and I am feeling so sexy! My tummy is getting smaller and the scale is no longer scaring me. I am so glad I have made some steps towards loosing the weight that was making me feel so ugly! I am so pretty inside and it is so sad that my man wants me to be thin again.... so soon.
I took a couple dance classes also, and it was such a challenge. I used to dance, but I need a lot of work to be that flexible and strong again. I stretch constantly and lunge when I am going up the stairs.
Here are some tips I have learned:
*Stand up as much as possible. It burns callories and is better than sitting all the time. Let that blood flow! Iron some clothes while standing or dance around with the baby -dog-hubby or kids!!!
*Drink cold ice water. When your body changes the temp of the water it is actually burning callories!
*Squeeze your butt cheeks together when you are out going for a walk. It looks funny but tightens the muscles!
*Leg lifts, arm circles, tummy twists, sit ups, push ups are very effective and easy to do while watching T.V.
*Eat greens! Fiber (broccoli is the bomb!) actually pulls fat as it goes through your system since it can't be broken down as easily.
Am I obsessed? I wouldn't even mind the weight so much, so I guess I should thank the man of mine. He inspires me to be at my best and I am determined to get that sexy little body of mine back so I can have more kids one day and do it all over again!!!
I have two girls and need a boy... who knows how many kids I will have!!
