I guess I just don't have that eye

So of you know one day i would love to be a sports photographer. Well. I guess I just don't have it. I just can't seem to get anything that I "love" I try to shoot in manual but all I get is a big blob or just a black picture.I know alot of it has to do that its dark out. Even when I shoot when its light out all i can seem to get is crap when I shoot in manual. now if I shoot in auto they come out a little better. I also know that because I can't get as close as I would like but still. Ya think I would have learn something by now on how to use a my camera! right wrong! I'm just so Darn frustrated with my self. I take my camera every where with me. People teas me saying its my 2nd kid. lol

Well, here are some of my crapy pictures.I could post alot more. but theses are the best I can get from where I am able to stand.

Now this picture is one of my Fav pictures. My husband is to the Left our friends son in the middle and my daughter to the right. As you can tell Ryan is the one that races. My DD looks up to him like a big Brother. On the frount of the shirts on my husband says Pit crew. we haven't put anything my DD shirt yet but it will say Biggest Cheerlearder.

I love the first two. A great book for shooting manual is Understanding Exposure. I too could only get a black screen in manual mode about 6 months ago, but once I figured it out it was so easy! Good luck!
