My Blessed Journey 2 Be Home

I am absolutely excited to be able to share my experiences with all of the mothers on Café Moms looking for legitimate Work from Home or a Home-Based Career!!!  Here is my personal story of my blessed journey 2 be home.

In May of 2003, I married my husband.  I was pregnant with our daughter at the time.  I was working a full time job at my local humane society.  My husband is a very successful man.  He is a computer programmer/software engineer.  He makes 6 figures on his own.  However, he was married previously and suffers a great deal of debt from that marriage.  So we basically live paycheck to paycheck.  My daughter was due to be born in January of 2004.  As stated, I was working for my local humane society which is a non-profit organization.  I was the first employee to ever become pregnant while working there.  They didn't even have a maternity leave written in our employee handbook or policies!  Well, thanks to me, they do now!  I began to freak out about what I was going to do about income while I was out for the scheduled 6 to 8 weeks. 

I began looking on the net for ways to work from home doing data entry/administrative type things.  I came across different opportunities.  My naïve self thought it was logical to have to pay an "application fee" since the employer didn't know for sure if I would do the work and they didn't know me from Adam!  Well needless to say, I got scammed out of over $500 worth of work from home jobs and bad business investments. Then I came across one opportunity that at the time changed my life.  In October of 2003 I started a business with a wellness company and was so excited to have my very own business.  I had so many high expectations about making money while I was going to be out with the baby.  I worked full-time at the humane society and worked my business part-time with the wellness company.  I followed everything they trained us to do to the exact "t."  I just wasn't getting anywhere.  Even though I was working part-time, I was actually putting in full-time hours and getting below part-time earnings.  But I had faith that things would turn around.  I had done a lot of research on owning my own business and new that things take time.  So, I just pressed on with this opportunity.

 However, there was still a great weight on my shoulder.  I couldn't get the fact that there are people out there scamming innocent naïve people out of their hard earned money.  So, in December of 2003, I started my own company called Blessed 2 Be Home (http://www.blessed2behome.org/).  I started this company to help people, like myself, find legitimate jobs from home.  In 2001, I had worked for a medical company from home, so I knew that there were many companies out there that hired telecommuters, it's just that they are hard to find.  So I started out giving people free help and a list of company names that I had developed from purchasing e-books, working for the companies myself, or researching them on the net and confirming with the company about their positions from home.  Word got out about my FREE assistance and my email account was flooded from 20 emails daily to 100-200 emails daily with requests for help.

It was hard for me to keep helping people with individualized searches, so I decided to start charging for my services.  All at the same time I was developing my business with the wellness company. In 2004, I expanded my services to offering office administrative services and virtual staffing to small businesses and individuals.  I had built up a huge clientele by that time.  These were telecommuters that were using my top jobseeker services.  I was able to give companies access to these telecommuters and vice versa. With the jobseeker program, I look for jobs in the career fields of the client's choice.  I do background checks on both the jobseeker clients and company clients.  After I've found the jobs and researched them, the listings are then emailed to the client.  It is up to the client to apply to all of the listings provided.  I also assist them with their resumes and any other areas that need to be developed.  Because I wasn't making as much money as I should have with the wellness company, I turned my focus on developing Blessed 2 Be Home and its services.  As the years passed by I continuously developed Blessed 2 Be Home and its services and even continued to work on the home-business with the wellness company as I could.  Unfortunately, in 2007, I decided to stop working the wellness company.  It just wasn't for me.  After all of the hard work and only getting a $5-60 check was not cutting it.  So, I remained a customer of the company but ceased building the business. 

 In July of 2008, I was approached by Ameriplan again.  I immediately remembered my promise to myself from 2003.  I researched the company more and I prayed about it.  Something inside kept telling me that this was right and the best option for me and my family.  So I joined.  And it has been a blessing for me so far! I made more money in one month with Ameriplan than I did in a couple months with the wellness company.  Now that spoke HIGH volumes to me about the quality of this business opportunity.  I have seen and experienced how REAL this is.  I am looking forward to building a LEGACY for my family.  I've never been involved with a company that gave such high commissions, residual commissions, daily pay, 401(k) option, and the option to be able to WILL my business to someone.  This was a big and an important thing for me.

To date, I have successfully assisted over 400 telecommuters be placed in jobs with companies who hire professionals to work from home.  So, this has been also such a blessing to me.  In October of 2008, I expanded Blessed 2 Be Home's market and services to selling quality and affordable gifts (http://www.b2bhgifts.org/).  I am also selling on eBay and in 2 other stores B2BH Gifts and Blessed 2 Be Home Gifts. Working both my Blessed 2 Be Home business and Ameriplan business has truly been a blessing for me indeed.  If I can work from home, I know you can too!  You just have to find out what is the best fit for you and your family.
