Worried for Collin

As you may have read in my previous post I have worried sick about Collin.  He's had 2 seizures within 3 weeks.  He has been seizure free for 6 months now.  He had an EEG and two MRI's.  We went to see his neurologist for a follow-up visit from MRI on 9/24.  I thought no big deal just routine follow-up visit, right?  WRONG!!!  He wants us to follow-up with Pediatric Hematology/Oncology group.  They are talking about possible chemo.  Then they may want us to follow up with Pediatric Neurosurgeon. 

Collin and I went to appointment by ourselves and was hit with all this info.  I called SO and filled him in on info.  I told him when I make appointment for Oncology he needs to come with as I am getting way to stressed.  As soon as we got in car from the doctors I broke down but had to pull it together because DS was asking me "what's wrong mommy?" I had to tell him I was ok even though I wasn't.  Tookhim to school and talked briefly with teacher to giver her details.  I then went to work even though I wanted to go home and crawl under the covers and hide and cry.  I need to come to work and keep busy and keep our insurance.  I talked with a good friend/co-worker who has been thru some similar things as this and knows what resources to be taken is letting me know what  and where to go for the best doctors and treatments.  It seems like its moving fast, we meet with the Oncologist tomorrow at 9am,  SO can not get time off that qucik and this appointment will just be fact finding and maybe some labs.  SO told me when we go back for results of bloodwork he will be there and we'll see what is next for our little guy. 

Please keep us in your thoughts and I will post more once we know what is next.  Thanks and I'm sorry if this all over the place my mind is racing....
