Unwanted puppies abandoned and left to die...

Did you hear about the animal shelter in Oak Lawn, Illinois that was letting unwanted puppies die - without any medical attention or food whatsoever? These were the runts, the puppies rejected by their mothers. They were taken to the soiled linens laundry room and left to die. The heartless shelter administrator explained his position as not wanting to place an undue burden on the puppy's mothers and exercising his position's perogative. Actually... I have some of the facts wrong.

It wasn't puppies being left to die, but babies at Christ Hospital, Oak Lawn, Illinois. The babies were unwanted, babies who had survived an abortion but were denied medical care. It was so upsetting that one nurse campaigned to have this policy change. The bill was called the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. Barak Obama did not support this bill. His support for abortion is so radical that he cannot even support medical attention for infants who are breathing - who are no longer just tissue in their mother's bodies. How radical is this position?

As we go to the polls tomorrow - please ask yourself if you would vote for this man to be director of your local animal shelter. Surely not your country's leader. There is no amount of possible financial gain this man could bring our country which should outweigh our responsibility to protect the weakest, most innocent members of our society.

If you feel repulsed by the idea of a presidential candidate opposed to providing living infants with basic medical care - please share this information with your friends, pray for our nation tomorrow, and put your conscience ahead of your pocketbook in the voting booth tomorrow.

I really have trouble understanding how people can justify supporting this man. Let's see, he's got great plans for our economy and health care, you just have to overlook the fact he believes in killing babies. In other societies, that viewpoint is considered child sacrifice. If you will just kill the innocent as a sacrifice, it will provide better lives for all of us. We're told to close our eyes if we don't like the killing because it's necessary to provide better lives for women. As the Republican platform states, women deserve better than this.
