I VOTED!!

We may not agree who should be President... But we SHOULD agree on the IMPORTANCE of voting. We took all the children with us to vote. They sat down on the floor behind The Hubby and I while we casted our vote. Afterwards, I was emotional walking out of the building. I looked down at my nine year old son and told him, "This just might be the most important election of my lifetime."

What a great day! What a great day in our American History.

PLEASE GO VOTE!!!!

girl, you arent the only one! I go emotional too! I felt SO empowered! It was amazing to look around at all these people and know that we had a common ground to stand on, as concerned citizen of an amazing country! Like I said earlier, I've never been so proud to be an American! : ) (cute picture by the way!)

I VOTED first thing this morning, which would have been about 4:30AM your time! I always get really emotional when I vote. I understand that less than 100 years ago women were not granted this priviledge. I know as I'm walking into the polling booth, I'm wielding a power my great-grandmother fought for. I'm letting my voice be heard loud and clear. It gives me chills.

Did you notice the cafemom poll today? It currently says that 23% of the women who have participated in the poll so far won't be voting today. I just don't get that. I don't get it at all.

If only WE could get EVERYONE to understand this! Then we ALL would be so much happier, put aside our differences.....AND BAN TOGETHER ....Really it is very simple....WE just need to get that point across...SOMEHOW - SOMEWAY - SOME DAY......And SOON !!
