Best of Election Conversations

As all of the news organizations have reported, Senator Barack Obama is now the President-Elect of the USA.  Congratulations to him and all of those who supported him.  We also want to recognize the great effort Senator John McCain and all of his supporters - as well as the many other who supported other candidates!  And we can't forget the many CafeMommers who are from other countries and followed along with the rest of us. 

But we can't come close to sharing the wide range of opinions that exist on CafeMom.

CafeMom has lit up with conversations about the election, from intellectual debates about policy, long discussions about character, to silly pictures of candidates, and some rumors of... dubious value. But one of the great things about CafeMom, and every mom who participates, is the incredibly diverse range of opinions that are represented. 

Since the results of the election came in a few hours ago, there have been a tremendous number of posts all over CafeMom with all sorts of opinions - mostly constructive, with a few bad apples sprinkled in here and there.  It's been overwhelming for us reading everything to try to see where the great stories are, so we started making a list.
