California passed Prop 8.
Arkansas banned Gay ADOPTION.
Arizona banned gay marriage.
One step at a time... there will come a day, when people will realize what a travesty is is to deny American Citizen basic rights. I want to believe that day will be soon. 
Sad, very sad, that too many people cannot recognize love for love. No one has the right to regulate (or even simply judge) love or people who want to express that love. You might as well just say "if you are gay and in love, move to Canada". Fuckwads.

While I don't agree with them, I can ALMOST understand the marriage thing, ALMOST (still think it is stupid not to let them marry, but I think some of the voters must be missinformed and think that it would affect their relegion and church) The ADOPTION thing PISSED ME THE FUCK OFF!!! So, we are just going to leave all these poor children if foster care, with no real family, when there are perfectly willing and hopeful people who want to take them in, love them and care for them, but they can't just because they are gay! What the hell!!! I was raised by essentially a lesbian couple (my mom and my transgender father) and I came out perfectly fine. Also, they didn't turn me gay or anything. I am actually the only girl my age I know who hasn't expirimented with the same sex. I think each person who voted against that should have to pay for or take in a child from foster care, because obvioiusly they think they can do better than those evil gays! That is CRAP!!!!!!!!!!

I'm shocked and saddened.
For awhile there I really thought we were moving forward... I said, "Score one for equality!!" Now I'm just angry. Homosexuals had come such a long way just to get knocked back down to square one.
We'll keep fighting, though. this isn't over.
I'm F*CKIN FURIOUS about the adoption thing too!!
I don't see all these bigoted HATERS running to the orphanages and sweeping up all these unwanted children and bringing them into their homes!! What right do they have to decide WHAT KIND OF COUPLE is allowed to adopt a child and have a family.
It must be SO TIRING playing 'moral police' to all the people in America. To those of you who feel you've got any right to tell SOMEONE ELSE who they're allowed to marry-- GET A HOBBY OR SOMETHING! keep your nose out of everyone else's business.
