Why is it that I can't say anything without being so very " Polictically incorrect" Like peopel are allowed to say how crappy Bush is and how terrible conservatives are, but I can't say anything to offend those liberals out there who have been so rude to me. I can't say, wow, I am dissapointed that Obama is president and I have a feeling he is not being honest and that he was elected because of his celebrity status...thats a FREE RIGHT I HAVE to express my opinion, in a nice way I might add. I am sick of it. If you can be rude to me and what I believe and yet I can't say anything against your views than screw you.

Rant number two... YES I am MORMON get over it. I don't appreciate jokes making fun of my religion. I need a break from hipocritical people I swear!

 I love some of my groups very much, Junebugs the most but I am not going to be involved in a biased group no matter how much I love some of the people.

I hear you..... I know we are all very different people, but there is an intelligent way to get your point across  without making other people feel bad about themselves, or their beliefs.... this has been a very different day for me here on CM and I am trying so hard not to get upset.

I hear you and agree with everything you said.  I can't beleive people voted the way they did but now we all have to live with it. Well for at least 4 years.  I would never make jokes about people who are my freinds or anyone else for that matter.  If i ever hurt someone well I would do my best to make it right.  Love and Hugs

I am sorry--I know that liberals yell for fairness yet attack you for having an opinion too. Is that fair? I don't think so! ((((())))))please know you are welcome to vent or talk freely about this new administrations policies in our little group and be free of any backlash-there are other like minded people that are truly concerned with this new president and its good to keep in contact with others in order to keep on top of letting our concerns be heard when new and scary policies come up. I have been attacked for being a Christian on groups too and so it seems if you are not atheist, muslim, wiccan, satanist-it is allowable to be attacked for what you believe. Hang in there and feel free to stop by our little group any time.~

See, I'm a liberal and I have no problem with you not liking Barack Obama!  I would disagree with the celebrity status point, but hey, that's fine... My sister and I disagree on politics ALL THE TIME, about pretty much everything....Just please keep in mind that just as most conservatives respected the right of liberals to disagree with George Bush, most liberals respect that you don't agree with Obama -- it's just that the rudest ones are also the most vocal.  Frankly, during the campaign I had to work on solo projects most of the time because I found so many of the local Obama supporters (I live in a very liberal city) to be irritating.  They seemed to want revenge on conservatives for Bush more than anything else.  (like respect for dissent)

As for Mormon jokes, I'm not a Mormon and I think they're offensive, too.  I just don't think people should attack someone else's beliefs, whether political or religious, regardless of my affliation or theirs.

Though I'd be really interested to know what you don't like about Obama....  And I mean that, not in a snarky way!!  Personally, I like to here the other side's view -- how else do you ever find common ground?

I here ya on the Mormon thing...YES, I'm LDS too :D It's funny because I grew up in California and always got picked on for being Mormon...then I moved to Utah and everyone seems so condecending because I guess I'm not Mormon enough. With some people, you just can't win. I wish everyone would just mind there own business and not be such haters. Feel free to PM me if you ever need to vent...I hear I'm a good listener ;)
