Obama. Congratulations. You did it. Now I hope you wear a rubber while you're screwing this country. Your plan looks GREAT on paper for moms like me. Modern day Robin Hood? I think not. While I agree that our country DOES need some type of "Universal Health Care"; you're wanting to go about it the wrong way. Your plan will put our country in ruin. Not that it isn't already, but your plan will most certainly throw us into a depression.
There is a combination of two things that will happen if your plan takes effect.
1. Employers will be forced to cut down on employees due to not being able to afford to keep them on, and pay for the runny noses. There go the jobs that we so desperately need! They're few and far between now.
2. The business owners and corporations who do decide to keep people on; will raise the prices of their goods and services. You can't convince me otherwise. They're all about the profit margin. Which is what all businesses look at. And they should!! However; if they have to pay for the insurance as well.... there goes the profit margin. How do they make that up? They raise prices. Things are expensive enough right now!
I do agree with your plan to raise minimum wage (this will also cause prices to go up, but not nearly as bad as your health care plan.) It's time for a boost in pay to adjust for the cost of living expenses that have become outrageous.
Also, Mr. President-elect, How could a FATHER, who WITNESSED his own children coming into this world, be a supporter of partial birth abortion?? Those who are for it, and whom haven't witnessed the miracle of birth, fine, they're just IGNORANT. I can blame their stance on IGNORANCE. An overwhelming majority of those, when they do witness this, will tearfully change their views on it. The ones who don't, have NO heart. No respect for life, and frankly are a waste of space and their daddies should have rolled over and shot them on the wall. So yes, Mr. Obama, that's how I feel about YOU!
Look at it like this: a woman who is going to go through with a partial birth abortion, is giving birth to a viable BABY (notice I did NOT say FETUS, it's a BABY, get it right). Some of those BABIES are far enough along to need LITTLE to no life saving intervention. The doctor's took an oathe to "First do NO harm". Partial birth abortion is nothing more than legalized murder. If the biological mother is going to go through the pain and stress to give birth in the third trimester (and I assure you, there IS pain involved); why not SAVE that innocent BABY? If the "mother" is going to go through the pain anyway; why not SAVE that BABY and give him or her a chance at life with a loving couple who so desperately want a baby, but for some reason can't have one of their own. What's the difference to the mother?
This is a sad day for Americans. I pray that you spend a lot of time in prayer, and rethink some of your plans of financial ruin for the people you are supposed to serve. Bush screwed things up enough, we don't need you to finish the job.

I vote for whom I feel will be better for the country, I just happen to have Republican views. The OPINIONS expressed here have NOTHING to do with Democrat vs Republican. I beg to differ... he voted FOR it. Killing a baby when he or she is 1/2 way out of the mother is not going to make a difference in any situation. If the baby is being born; what case could possibly SAVE A LIFE by killing a baby??? NONE. Either way, that baby IS coming out. Duh. I repeat: his daddy shouldda rolled over and shot him on the wall.

Correction: I'm not bashing people for their views. I'm simply stating what I think of Obama and HIS plan. If you take offense, maybe it's because you didn't look at the long term effect of what his plan will have on us. My questions to Obama in this post are fair.

It's called being heartless. Have you ever held a still born baby?? It's beyond tragic. I'm assuming you're one of those girls who uses abortion as a form of birth control. As for your post lady... if you think you know of a better candidate for pres then why dont you run in four years? You seen to know an awful lot... Wow you are some piece of work. I feel so sorry for you. And for your information no I have never in my life had an abortion nor will I. But I unlike you do not think its right to push my views on others and make decisions for them. And I don't hate people just because their views are different than mine. I accept people for who are they are. Wow I sound more like a Christian than you, and I'm Agnostic. Nothing new though, I suppose.
You have no idea how right you are in your statement of "it's over". So why can't you give me an example of how killing a baby who is 1/2 out of his or her mother is going to save a life????? That's what I want to know. You defend his decision, but if a baby is 1/2 out, it's gotta come the rest of the way out anyway... how is killing it going to make a difference??? SOMEBODY ANSWER THIS PLEASE!!!!
I do not HATE anybody, I just have a low tolerance for stupidity. Now, will somebody PLEASE answer my question as to how a killing a baby in the middle of the birthing process is going to save another life???
