i've been thinking about preschool latley, and was just doin a little research online and it's looking like we're going to be paying between $3,000-$10,000 a year if we want to get Miles into a good school. we'll probably have help from our family, and L's dad works for Waldorf and may be able to assist us with that in some way if we can find a way to manage it, but it's incredibly overwhelming regardless. i'm not against public schools, as long as we're in a good district. Obama's win especially gives me hope for the improvment of america's school system, but i really want to give my son the best start possible. a good foundation to grow from. he's going to be turning 1 in less than 2 months already, the time has just flown by and the fact that we'll need to start applying to schools in a year just makes it all seem so imperative.
i'm kind of kicking myself right now for every stupid thing i've ever bought that i didn't need, every dollar wasted that could have been saved. time to get it into gear....
