Hey there ladies, I have a MAJOR hair dye dilema and need your advise!!!  I am normally a blonde, and wanted a change last night. So I went to the store and bought a "light cinnamon" color.  Well, I did it last night, and well now I look like THE LITTLE MERMAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have a Christening to go to tonight and a wedding next week.  What do I do?????????????  Can I dye it a brown color or something?   Help!!!!  I am seriously devistated!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, that's pretty!

It'll fade too, so the Ariel look will only last a few days, maybe a week, but the strawberry deep blonde look will REALLY be beautiful on you.

Seriously, Sister!  I like it!

Well, you could re-dye it ... but I hope you don't.  It looks very nice on you.  Very pretty.

I think it looks great! I've heard that Pert shampoo can help tone it down, not sure if it's true or not. Good luck!

I am actually a licensed hairdresser (16 years) , and it does look good on you . However yes you can go darker , but you will not be able to just color it blonde again. Red is extremely hard to get out of your hair , and it fades the quickest. If you don't want it as red , you need to buy color with a green base.  That will counter with the red , it may still be a little brassy...then you would need a blue base for the orange. It's all chemistry.....write me if you need more info....LOL

Color won't lift color,  so you can only go darker if you want to change it.   However,   You need to give it at least two or three days,  so your hair can rest,   double damage is not fun!
