Question on Obama. No bashing please serious inquiry.

I heard that Obama was refusing to use the bible to be sworn in to office. I was wondering if anyone has any proof of this? Is it also true that he refuse to say the pledge of allegiance and salute the flag? Not criticizing him just asking?

I don't know about the bible.  He swears up and down that he salutes the flag but I've seen pictures where he didn't have his hand over his heart and everyone else in the picture did.  No bashing here but he wasn't my choice.

The picture of him not saluting the flag is authentic, but saluting the flag is not a requirement for president. This symbolic gesture has declined significantly since it's conception, and he does place his hand on his heart for the pledge of allegiance.

The negative emails that were sent early this year said he does not put his hand on his heart for the Pledge of Allegience but in fact if you watch that you tube video they were singing the national anthem. No one is required to put their hand over their heart for the anthem (at a ball game etc). This rumor was part of a negative campaign against Obama. Hope that clears that up.

Sworn in to what office? I didn't think he was innagurated till January.
