Oh the life I lead....

It's crazy, cooky, fun, daring, fast, breezy, stressful, beautiful!!  It's MY life, and I wouldn't change it for the WORLD!!

 

Well  Shall we begin the the BIG new Change!!??

The Wedding:

It was PERFECT (give or take a few things)  The ceremony was BEAUTIFUL (except the church decided they'd have a freak'n RUMMAGE sale that day!! There was crap ALL OVER the place outside of the chapel!  I was, needless to day, NOT happy!! Lol) Anyway, the ceremony went just great as I said, It was soo fast! Or so it seemed, up there!   I happened to be a total PMS drama queen for the big day SO I couldn't stop crying! Lol  I looked like a WRECK!! Haha!  But anyway, we exchanged our "I DO's" and took some glamorus pictures [still waiting to hear back from my uncle about those!] BUT as we left for the reception hall, we where on the Highway {HWY 10 for those of you familiar with Lawrence} and BOOOM!!!  There was this HORRID load BOOM, as if a bomb went off - in front of us - followed with a BURST of flames!!  A man driving a little white SUV (Ford Escape) was driving while under the influence, and crossed the yellow line and went head on with a older pick-up truck.  The truck practically exploaded and the the poor innocent (truck) driver was ejected from the vehical.  Sadly, we were unaware of even the mans where-abouts for over an hour.  Neither driver survived, and thankfully there were no passengers!  It was the most discusting scene, and what was worse is you just saw two younger lively men killed within seconds!   Because it all happened in front of us, we were required to stay a while and give our report as to what we saw/heard.   Making us over an hour late to our reception, along with our DJ and Caseys parents!!    It was a major set-back, and it was hard to swallow and go on to enjoy the rest of our dream-evening BUT, we sure made the best of it, and had a WONDERFUL time!!!  The food (my mom did all the cooking) was WONDERFUL; it was Spagetti, meatballs, garlic bread, and itaian flav. Salad!!    The cake was beautiful, and wasn't too bad...  The lady who made it was apparently a HEAVY smoker because the cake had a smokey after taste..  BUT I didn't so much enjoy it with my mouth as I did with my FACE!!  Casey too!!  We got each other pretty good I will admit! Lol.    Anyway, well we danced away the evening, talked and talked with friends and family.  It was picture perfect!!!

The Week Following:

WELL where to being??  We spent the 1^st few days going through all our new things, takeing back duplicates and spending gift cards!  SO FUN!!  I love all our new stuff!!  THEN I think it was Wednesday, Casey bought me a new car! 02' Dodge NEON!!  It's champagne color.  It's so pretty!  It's the nicest thing I've ever OWNED!  Lol!  So I've been pretty excited about that!

THEN there was Halloween!!  Khaymin was so cute!!  Durring the day, she was "Tinkerbell" because at that point, it was pretty warm, and that was the coolest costume she had.  We took her to the Douglas County Main Bank because our Aunt Sally and all her gal'pals were all dressed up at work, so we "trick-or-treated" there for a while, which was fun.  THEN once it cooled off and was time for the real trick-or-treating to begin, Khaymin changed into her pink Butterfly costume and we went out!!  She did soo good!  She walked (2 full streets) w/o any problems, we would go up to the doors, she'd knock, and say "trick-or-treat" and once the placed the goodies in her bucket, she told them all "thank you!"  it was the cutest thing!!  I was so mad because I forgot my camera, BUT I couldn't possibly forget that evening!!  She was the perfect little trick-or-treater!!  Once we got home of course she had to have Candy.. and candy, and even MORE candy!! Needless to say, it was a good thing it was the weekend because she was up till close to mid-night!! Haha!

The Big # 2 !!!

Khaymin did it, She went ahead and turned 2!!!  I can't believe it!!  Khaymin has been lovein EVERY min. of it since Thursday (the 6^th) she actually STILL think's its her birthday!!  Anyway, because of other family engagements and races etc.  We've moved  her party to this weekend (the 15^th) so that should be a lot of fun!!!  She will be getting her "BIG GIRL" bed!!  Time to say goodbye to the crib, and her diapers!!  We picked out her "big girl" undies too!!  Cinderella of course!!  I'm so sad she is growing up so fast! BUT so can't wait to be done with all the diapers!!!!! 

 

Anyway, I just wanted to post an update!  Everything has been changing, so I thought I'd better catch you all up!!

I stalked your page because of this whole crazy waiting game! lol

Ok, as a cake maker, I am completely appalled that your cake tasted like smoke! Where the heck did you get it from?!?!

And that whole thing about the accident is just nuts! I can't even imagine witnessing something like that! I did see a guy get hit by a car once, but he was, thank God, okay with only minor injuries.
