This angers me!

Today I was watching cartoons with my kids and I saw a commercial for Clorox. It shows people using clorox disinfectant all over the house, and then it says that using it makes a "healthier" house.
This is the stuff that angers me. Bleach is poison and a known carcinogen. Why would using that in your house make it healthy? Healthy and clean are NOT the same thing. Plus Lysol is a registered pesticide and known carcinogen.Those chemicals have been linked to many childhood problems like ADD/ADHD, asthma, allergies, sensory integration and many others.
Many people may not be educated on things like this.  You may think that using these products create a "healthy home", but think twice about the products that you use in your house.

And always question commercials!

Lots of commercials and products are very misleading. I noticed when I was a little girl that all the shampoo bottles said, "for healthy LOOKING hair"..................that doesn't actually mean healthy hair!

That is why I switched to a peroxide bleach and I also use vinegar to clean all the surfaces in our house.  Now when I smell normal cleaners I gag.  I am even considering trying a home made shampoo :-)
