That we are going to have to bring Elvis (the gecko) back :( I just can't stand to feed him crickets...I feel horrible about it. Hubby is already making fun of me and telling me that I'm dumb for feeling this way, but I can't help it. Its just the kind of person I am. I just don't like animals eating animals or people eating animals for that matter. I know its part of life or "the circle of life" but I just don't like it! I have feelings for all living things. Yesterday Chris fed Elvis a few crickets and he was watching him stare them down...well after a few minutes he goes "Oh he almost got one!" I walked over and the poor cricket was hopping furiously all over the cage and trying to jump out..I felt so bad and wanted to remove him and put him (the cricket) outside but he would have died out there for sure because its so cold. Call me a sally I guess...I can't help it. So, Chris called the pet store and they are friends of Chris's parents so they will take Elvis back and give us a store credit to get a different animal. We have to keep all the stuff that we got for him..so we are probably just going to get a couple hampsters and keep them in the cage Elvis is in now after I wash it of course. I'm just feeling down...I feel bad for the crickets, I feel bad for Elvis because we are supposed to give him a good home...and I feel bad for Madison because shes not going to understand why we are bringing him back. :( I suck as a parent lol. I should just suck it up and keep him...but I just can't! :(

A Boy with Autonomic Dysfunction - The Miller Family
Our Special Life
Oliver was born after having suffered a stroke while in his mother's womb. The resulting brain injury is called Dysautonomia (Autonomic Dysfunction). His doctors believe the stroke was the result of the miscarriage of his twin. Oliver is completely blind and his underdeveloped brain stem makes basic physical functions a challenge. In spite of all this, he is a happy, go-lucky, 12-year-old boy, and his mom wants people to meet the real Oliver, not just his medical hardships.
