I have always tried to put a lot of thought behind the gifts that I give for birthdays. But I the most recent present that comes to mind is when I put a pond in for my neighbor while she was on vacation. I bought the kit, dug the hole, put in the liner, gathered rocks the whole kit and kaboodle. Eventually everyone int the neighborhood got involved and we all gathered there in the evenings to enjoy it. We all pitched in and bought water garden plants, lights, clean up the surounding area and flower beds, it was so much fun. When she came home late in the evening she stayed up until 4:30 in the morning sitting outside listening to the fountain and just taking it all in. She LOVED it and still does.
