Tight and thin beneath my feet
the rope I walk is strong
I jump, I skip, i twirl around
keeping balanced all along
with every acrobatic move
my smile grows more wide
its because I know you're watching
eyeing me with pride
when I leap and when I spin
your eyes on me like glue

for a moment I get brave
with moves more dangerous than I should

I land things I never could
