This is not a complete list and I am open to whatever life gives me when it comes to birth. I wont hate myself if I need a C-section or decide to get an epidural. People just ask me why, and these are some of my reasons.
Because I believe this is a right of passage. It's something women have gone through since the beginning of time. I want to be part of that.
Because I want to be in the moment. I want to feel the pain. You can not experience complete bliss without complete agony.
Because there are less complications. I will be able to feel my body and push correctly when I need to. I also don't want to get induced because of complications.
Because recovery is more smooth. I will be entirely able to take my baby and breastfeed her right when she comes out. I will be able to go home sooner and recover from birth faster.
Because this isn't supposed to be a walk in the park. You're supposed to feel your body go through this. Nature would have made women give birth in their sleep if we weren't supposed to feel the pain.
Because I think that if I can get through this, I can get through anything. I feel that if I can deal with this pain for a relatively short period of time, I can deal with all the sorrow and happiness that comes along with motherhood. I will be superwoman.
Comments:
I went natural with my first ( got an epi but it wore off wen it was time to push) with my second I experienced contraction to 9 cm and it was oh so painful but worth it and I got the EPi when it was time to push. I have experience natural birth between the two boys I have. I know that it hurts but it is so worth it.

You will be superwoman... and I don't think that I could honestly ever do it natural. Ouch! I will call you superwoman for the rest of time.
