Out with Politics, In with Religion

So it's a couple weeks after election day, and we,the ladies here at Cafemom have finally stopped bickering about politics. It is back to business as usual, fighting about religion, belief vs. non-belief, and the right to believe whatever you want!

I would like to say I find it strange that the "lines" of the battlefield are pretty much the exact same as they were two weeks ago, but I'm not surprised at all!  When we're arguing, it's against the same people. The same closed-mindedness. They haven't changed at all... only the topic has changed. They are still judgemental and condescending, and not at all willing to accept any opinions BUT their own as truth.

So, yes. Back to Business as Usual.

hell yea!  i thought I saw some talk of peace between the lines of division a few weeks before the elcetion... =x  I guess when it comes to god though, peace doesnt much matter to some people:*(

You know what I come from the other side and feel the same way. But what you wrote could be true of you too. If you are so sick of it why do you bother commenting?? People will always differ in opinion that is what makes each person individual you may not agree or like what they have to say but that doesn't make them stupid or inferior to you, just different.

Firstly, I didnt say anyone was stupid or inferior... Youre confusing MY post with some other posts.  And its really not about me not liking a post, or what a poster has to say... they've made their word public for me to comment on... and If I want to, I do so.  If ANYONE wants a post to only have comments that agree with their POV then they need to make their posts private.

The reason I personally comment is because I passionately want them to see things my way. They want to bring me to God, to make ME see the light, and I want the same thing for them.  I'm not going there to start a fight or drama, I just hope that what I and others post might make even one person question what they've been brainwashed to believe and that they might become as free as I am.

Ihartyou,  your sentiments were fine until you said I was brainwashed. I want others to see my side but I wouldn't call you brainwashed if I didn't agree with you.
