my baby story

i know its already been 4 months but here it goes =]

on June 24, 2008 i went to my last Dr. Appointment. i was dialated to 2cm.75% effaced. he wanted to send me upstairs to be induced {reminder i was due june 22} no reason just i was miserable 9 months pregnant in the middle of June!! ahh! but anyway
like any first time mom i was nervous. i went home,hubby took me out to eat and we got our clothes packed and headed up to L&D at 7pm. They hooked me up to like 3 different IV's ugh =/ one was for fluids and one was pitocin, dont remember the other one. Pitocin Sucked it did nothing for me. At  2 a.m. that morning the dr came in and broke my water! Contractions had started but not bad until about an hour later.They checked me and i was already dialated 6cm.  By then my contractions were right on top of each other, no breaks in between. So, my choices were either take the epidural or take a chance of having a emergancy c-section.  because they were putting the baby in distress. so i ordered the Epi and didnt get it until 4am. As soon as i got it i went to sleep for about an hour , hour and a half. When i woke up around 5 30am they took the pitocin off of me. a couple of hours went by and thankfully MY dr was there to deliver my baby. At 930 i had the erge to push!! no so bad but was getting ther. at 9:59am i started pushing. a couple of pushs and she was out!! at 10:09am i had my baby girl in my arms. she weighed 9lbs and 1 oz 22 inches long. healthy as can be. most beautiful moment i have ever witnessed.
i loved my labor pretty much! would do it again in a heart beat. no complications really so i was happy.
