Photo Journal: Our Latest Disney Trip

For hubby's 40th birthday, I got him a Richard Petty [Rookie] Driving Experience at the Walt Disney World Speedway. Since I knew Alyssa would get restless if she had to stay in the pits the entire 3-5 hours, we took a quick pic with one of the race cars, wished Alex good luck, then took Alyssa to Epcot to play while hubby satisfied his need for speed.

The Christmas decorations are already starting to appear in Epcot. The huge tree in front of the World Showcase looks great!

Of course, we had to visit Mexico to ride Alyssa's favorite, the "Where's Donald" boat ride...TWICE! After the second round, she decided to goofy off with her aunt:

We made our way to Future World, and since the line wasn't very long, we stopped at the Character Spot to visit some old friends:

About that time, Alex finished his experience and met up with us in Mouse Gears. He was psyched! He said that he was clocked at 112mph on his best lap! Not bad, considering the max speed on that track is 125mph!

We rode Soarin', then headed over to Nine Dragons restaurant in China, where Alex gave us all the details of the experience.

Afterwards, we wandered the World Showcase, and waited for the Illuminations nighttime fireworks show to start. I had promised Alyssa a treat from the Germany pavilion, and she picked out a chocolate and marshmallow cookie with sprinkles, which she devoured while we watched the fireworks.

I was glad I thought ahead to pack Alyssa's pajamas in her bag. While Alex brought the car around, I took Alyssa to the potty, then changed her into her PJs for the ride back to my sister-in-laws. She was out before we were off the Disney property!

Our next trip is in less than 2 weeks! I can't wait!

we didn't see any of those characters up close! im jealous! well, we got a pic w/ fairygodmother but thats it..everyone else was on stage or on break i guess..lol

what package did you get him?!? I'm thinking about getting for my dh.
