K mommies, I have a ?Today I was holding my 2 yearold son and he started to cry.Out of nowhere he screamed at the top of his lungs like someone was killin him or somethin. Then he says "you ok"as he is screaming.I thought maybe he was tryin to poo and it was hurting or something cuz he didn't do anything to hurt himself.Well just now he woke up and I put him on his back to see if he needed to be changed and he did it againHe has real tears in his eyes.I tried to feel around his body and he is not acting like anything is hurting.Any ideas what could be the problem.I want to cry with him cuz I dont know what else to do.Now he is fine.Walkin around here wanting to play. Thanks for reading.

my baby throws some fits! they just come out of nowhere the tears in the eyes and all that. i do the same thing, when she FINALLY clams down i feel around her body, mash around her stomach to make sure it's not hard or she cried when i touch it.. and just like your son my daughter seems a okay. i just assume i got a semi-colic baby, i don't know what else to think. my first born was not a cryer at all, especially compared to my 2nd baby. i wish i could be more help, but i just thought i'd let you know you are not alone! we just got us some cryers :*(
sometimes its a temper tantrum, just a little scream for attention. I was alwasy nervous about that kind of stuff and would rush my kids to the dr and then be told that they are fine, it was all for attention. Who knows it could be an ear infection, those creap up on kids and they are in pain but cant tell you what it is. I would monitor that and if he continues take him to the dr to get a checkup
Not sure about a uti cuz he has only done it twice.Im sure if it hurt him to pee he would grap at his pp.He has done that b-4 when he has a rash or something down there.Never thought bout earache but again he usually picks at his ears if they bother him.Its not like a cry for attention.I don't know but thanks for the ideas.I put him on his back and pushed around on his tummy but no reaction.Guess we will just have to see what happens.
Just saw your post. I assume he is ok now but I don't know either what it could have been. My kids are grown and a lot has changed since then. Only thing that hasn't changed is that when your child is hurting you hurt too.Right? Sorry no one knew what to really do either. Kids get sick quickly and well just as fast sometimes. But when they have tears it usually is somehting hurting them. Hope all is ok now..

You think he may have a UTI? If he isn't pooping and is hurting maybe it hurts when he pees.
