i got to the hospital at 530 and got my anti-b's cuz im gbs positive.  they broke my water at 710am and nothing happened at first.  so at 9 they started pitocin. my contractions are going great, some with a little bit of back pressure, so i asked for me epi.  the most AWESOME EPI EVER!!!!! i ws numb to the point of i couldn't move my legs it was great!!! the IV never started we didnt find out about that till she was born.  so the nurse comes in at 3 to check me, and she asked me did i feel any pressure, i said no.  the epi is so good that my strongest contractions felt like braxton-hicks.  so she got the stirrups and said push one time.  i started pushing and she stopped me.  apparently Ms. Ciara was already there.  she she went to get the doctor and 1 and  a half pushes later i had a beautiful baby girl!   it was such a great labor and delivery!   right now she's beens leep for about 2 hours!  YES 2 hours!!! out cold!! but she was a night sleeper in utero!  only thing that sucked today was i have a post nasal drip that isn't sexy at all!!!! shes latched on to the breast great!!!!!  hubby is in ND and i'm in SC but he's upset he couldn't be there but he's soooooo happy!!!!

What an absolutely beautiful baby!  I didn't know that Ciara meant black or that Leila is Arabic.  I had a great great aunt name Leila.  She was directly related to Wild Bill Hickock.  I doubt there's any Arabic blood there!  lol  Anyway, you picked a beautiful and elegant name for your little princess!

This is the first time that I have ever seen someone else spell Cheyanne this way. My baby-girl (big-girl 10 yrs) has the same   name & spelling.
