It's getting close to that time again the fun of shopping and also the worry of what to buy. So I ask this question... What in the world do you buy for the people at your child's daycare? Do you just make cookies or do you give a little gift too? I don't want to appear cheap but - really what and how much??
Comments:
When my kids where in daycare, I couldn't afford to get them anything. So I just did something like cookies. It really is the thought that counts. Cookies or a really nice pumpkin bread always seem to dissappear fast.
I got my son's pre-school teacher last year a cozy scarf from old navy.
LOL, this year we will be giving paintings that kids have done. I got some little art boards at the dollar store. We already have given one away and it was a huge hit!
Good luck and have fun with it.
Those are both great ideas. What are your favorite cookie recipes and the pumpkin bread?
LOL, I don't bake! I actually go to local craft and bake fairs. It's really cheap and so yummy. The little old ladies make the best stuff. And they love kids, so they play and coo with the kids and I buy their goodies.
I also get knit hats and such for cheap. I picked up 4 cool knit hats for my boys for 5 bucks each.
THat is a good idea, I'll have to see when our local craft and bake sales are. =)

I saw a cute idea at a Christmas party last year.... there are these little black felt bags at Walmart... that say, COAL... and you could just put any little something in them.... a decorative bag of candy, some cookies, or some dish towels, oven mitts, dish raggs...., Just any little things to fold neatly and arrange.. -- Just sharing an Idea???
