How cool is this?

This morning a stranger came by our house.  An older woman.  Said she has driven by our house and noticed we didn't have a dog house for our dog and wanted to know if we would like one.  She had an FNB tag on (one of the banks around here) and said she works for the Humane Society.

Rodney and I had talked about eventually getting one for Jellybean when we could afford it.  She's a rather large dog and those things are expensive.  Now that it's getting cold at night we bring her in when we go to bed but she stays out during the day.

I told the lady we would love to have one if she had one big enough for our dog.  She says that she did and it's in her car!!!!  Can you believe that!?  She pulled it out of her car...it's a brand new dog house and gave  us a brand new HUGE bag of cedar chips to lay in the bottom of the dog house.

A total shocker and it's very much appreciated.

What is even more wonderful is when it happens after you have just felt that the world is against you, like you and Rodney have felt with everything in the past 6 months!
