I haven't been online in quite some time but I figured you guys always give me good advice so its worth a shot.
Almost 2 months ago I decided to leave NY and move to Georgia. I figured it would be better for me to be down here to raise my children ( since finding out we were having another baby) considering NY is so expensive. So I left with my daughter and we are fine right now we are staying with my family until I get a job and settled, but I miss my bf terribly. He wants to come down but he is uncomfortable staying here with my family. I guess I can understand that but at some point I lived with his family and we were fine. So now I am trying to decide if I made the right decision for my family.
Of course as I was packing and getting ready to move my stuff to storage he received a notice from the city stating they want him to come in for a physical which means he can finally get a stable city job...but where does that leave me. Of course I will go back to NYC if he gets the job, but I sacrificed everything (my job, our apartment, etc.) to relocate my family. I know that the lifestyle here in GA is much better than NYC life but I want my family to be whole again and I really have a strong feeling that he is going to be appointed to this job in January.
The new baby is not due until March 7, and my daughter won't be out of school (Pre-K) until May sometime so of course I would not leave to go back until June. But that is still a long time to be away from my bf and he won't even know the new baby. So I am really torn about what to do.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
