ugh i just lost everything i typed.

condensed version:

got hannah in her new school.  she starts monday.  it's great.  they're moving her up to 5th grade (from 4th grade) because she was born in '98 and that's how they do it there.  she's pumped.  i'm slightly concerned, but not too worried.

that's about it.  too frustrated to retype everything.

grrrrrrr.

Oh don't be nervous the clicks the boys it starts earlier then that sometimes.  Geez my 4th grader is always telling me that so & so is going out with so & so to which I laugh and say so where are they going.  I think what it really depends on is the kid, some really truly are the types of kids that don't want anything to do with cliques and boys and drama.  Now I have one that is a drama queen and another that just doesn't get what all the fuss is about.  I am still surprised they moved her based on the year she was born and not what grade she was in.  Did they ask you what she was reviewing to ensure she would be on target?  I live in NY and I know they do it earlier but still.  For instance I was told Jason will start Kindergarten next September he still be four he will turn five on November 10th.  He will be young because of when his birthday falls if I want I can hold him but I probably won't because he is pretty smart and I am afraid he will later be bored.  I am pretty sure she is going to be fine she is really a smart girl it may be for the best to stretch her mind.  Is the school she is going to now bigger then the one she was in?  I do find the bigger the schools the less drama, we live in a small town and people here big and small think they know what time you shit.  If this makes you feel any better Samantha was born in 1999 she is in fourth I can not imagine her and Hannah together in a classroom, Hannah seems so much more older then her intelligently, not that Samantha is stupid but I think you know what I mean.  I think this may be for the better for her.  How do they do middle school?  When I lived down in Staten Island we had a separate school for the sixth graders?  Here they start in different grades depending on the school district ours is 6th but some actually started it in 5th grade now that is craziness.

I remember 5th grade. I would rather slit my wrists than repeat that experience. That was the year I got The Perm.
