IVF has begun!

There still is no news on my sons tests results, they should be in tomorrow! A little worried but there is nothing I can do but wait.

Well everything with me went well.  My appt went well, the cyst was still there but was starting to shrink, maybe bleeding out, and my levels were excellent so need to be concerned!  That is all I needed...So I took the last shot of Lupron on Friday and began Ganirelix on Saturday, along with my Prednisone 2x a day and my prenantal vitamins.  Got almost all my meds after a big mix up with mail order but all is well now and I have to say I am feeling pretty OK.  I can function and that' s all I pray for.  I will start stimming on Tuesday 450 of follistem, should be a whole lot of fun!  I am taking it one day at a time and not thinking of the one ifs.
It is difficult enough for me to try and realize that this is real.  I always said IVF wasn't an option.  But I guess when you want something so bad, you will try anything, and I came to that point.  After 6yrs and many doctors I finally found someone that I really felt comfortable with.  He has not made any promises to me, he just has a way about him.  And it stuck in my head when he said I can't promise you baby, but I will found out why its not happening!  For me that was very important.  Treat the diagnosis. 
So with that said, I will be home and trying my best to keep calm.  I go in Monday for Acupuncture and then my next appt with my Doc is Dec 1....

First, I hope your son's test results come back just fine!  He's in my thoughts... Please keep us posted.

Wow, that sounds like A LOT of stuff going on with the IVF!  I'm pretty unfamiliar with it all, but I had no idea that there were so many medicines, etc.  I hope that all goes well for you, and it's great that you found a doctor that you're comfortable with!  Good luck!  : )
