More cancer

Two years ago this month my father died from cancer.
One year ago this month my dog died of cancer.
Today my father-in-law's simple medical procedure turned into a much more involved attempt to remove cancer growing near his eye. Am I going to lose him too?
I'm really thinking I should hibernate through the entire month of November. It's not a good month for me or for the people I love.
