I sold my first homemade purse!  (It's the first one I made too, so that's very cool.)  I took a new order for another one today.  I am giving one as a Christmas gift.  And I think someone else is going to buy one.  I am really happy about this, because I love making them and (of course) I can use the money.

My handbags are all one-of-a-kind.  I pride myself in the cool color choices, as well as the fun factor, durability, and functionality of each one.  

At this time, my prices are $30 and $35.  The item pictured brought $40.  I put a zipper in it.  :oD

I set up a new studio to sell my items!  I am still working on it, but please check it out sometime.  :oD

As of today, 12/11/08, I have made at least 10 purses and 3 cell phone/wallet bags.  I sold 2 purses and am selling another one today.  I gave one as a thank you gift.  I will probably sell some small bags this weekend.  :oD

As of today, 1/22/09, I sold 3 more bags last weekend.  I am very happy with the positive attention and sales so far, especially since they are on display and selling without me trying too hard.  I haven't been on CafeMom much lately.  I apologize, but I have needed to focus my attention on making items to sell, etc.  Now, I plan on doing a better job at selling my creations on line, as well as in person.  If you are interested, please let me know.  Thanks!  Laura

Thank you!  The lady who's buying this one is rather conservative, so this simple bag is appealing to her to give as a gift for her daughter.  I have been making a few more that are funkier.  Yesterday a girl (at my beauty supply store) asked me to bring more in for her to look at.  I'll take pictures of the one she saw and a few more.  Then I'll post them either here and/or another place.  :oD
