I've got some pretty incredible kids! O.K., now that that has been said, the reason for my boast is that they have asked for some really different items this year. These are not break the bank expensive items. These are not mail order items. They aren't even items every kid on the block is clamoring for. In fact, Mackenzie started this back in October when she asked for....(drum roll please!)... aluminum foil. Yes, you read that right! She asked for aluminum foil for her birthday because she says it is the most awesomest stuff ever! She makes clothes for her dolls, art items and can paint it. It rocks , Mom! So, not to be outdone, Zachary (and all the others!) made their annual Christmas list for me and the top item of Zach's list is...fake dog poop. Yep! Fake dog poop! When asked why, I was told that it is sooo much fun to prank people with. Ha! Ha! Ha! So, I am on a mission for fake dog poop. I am determined that he will have that in his stocking Christmas morning. I just think it is great that instead of the newest fad, or high price toy, my kids are having fun with their imaginations. I plan on putting these wish lists in their scrapbooks so years from now we can have a good laugh about the year fake dog poop was on the "must have" list!

This is to funny! I just had a good laugh! The aluminum foil who knew it had so many more uses. LOL This is the kind of imagination I had as a child. We didn't have much but we had each other and an imagination.
Those kids of yours are truly something to be thankful for.
