This had to have been one of the most socially active weekends I have had in years!! Part of me is thrilled because it was so fufilling to spend that much time with friends and family, while at the same time I see the mound of work, cleaning, and general family upkeep that needs to be done. Yes now that I've spent so much time socializing its time to flip the switch and get into work mode.... yes work mode, but perhaps that will wait until morning. (Waiting until morning means a clear head and a hot cup of coffee.)

After brunch with my cousin Megan this morning I went and did some shopping at Target. Erick had sent me a text message saying that I should pick up hamburger, buns, charcoal, and eggs... so I figured we were doing some grilling. They had ran out of potato salad so I had to pick up a tub of this turkey, apple and walnut salad instead. What a good choice that was! It was great!! Upon getting home Alex and Makenna were outside and asking if Thea could come out and play.... so Thea and I went over to play with them, and I spent time visiting with Aaron and Kellie. The kids all play so well together - it was fun watching them have fun. I am excited for Alex and Thea to play tee ball this summer and excited for Makenna and Grace to dance next year together too.

Nina took care of the grilling tonight and did a great job making supper. This freed up my time to tend to a baby who was dearly missing her momma. Being I was gone for the first half of the weekend, and the second half of the weekend was pretty much filled with socializing, I had a fairly momma starved baby. Eventually Grace calmed down, and enjoyed some time in the bath tub with the much loved bubbles.....

Tonight was episode 2 in the final 9 episodes of The Soprano's and it was actually a pretty good one. I was a bit disappointed last week with the season opener. (It was kind of dullsville if you ask me.) This week there was a lot more action and I am very excited to see what next week brings. I have a feeling that Paulie and Christopher don't make it to the end of the season - we'll have to wait and see though. I've been watching the Soprano's since it started on HBO - its going to be sad to see this series go.

Balance... yes I need to get back to balance... I need to put some serious work time in.... hi ho hi ho
