When I struggled each day to smile, my innocents was missing for awhile.
I wanted it back, i felt so trapped
You were still there
When i seemed so busy or never sat still, the things I did never seemed real
You were still there
Ups and downs , running around, never feeling free
You were still there
This is your plan , when you grabbed my hand and showed me the way, i was truly astray.
You have enlightened my soul
I was searching for love and peace , but it couldnt be reached
You were still there I just never saw, but now my eyes can finally see the love
You will always be there for me , the only protector and real friend that will never end

A Boy with Autonomic Dysfunction - The Miller Family
Our Special Life
Oliver was born after having suffered a stroke while in his mother's womb. The resulting brain injury is called Dysautonomia (Autonomic Dysfunction). His doctors believe the stroke was the result of the miscarriage of his twin. Oliver is completely blind and his underdeveloped brain stem makes basic physical functions a challenge. In spite of all this, he is a happy, go-lucky, 12-year-old boy, and his mom wants people to meet the real Oliver, not just his medical hardships.
