Holiday thoughts, and a giveaway, anyone?

I've been away. Hasn't everyone to some extent? Thanksgiving was thankful, and well, gluttinous... is that a word? So many blessings. I'll have to post my favorite pics from the weekend. It was really nice to spend time with my sister-in-law's (SIL) soon-to-be in-laws. They're local, in the same town as us, so really, it wasn't a difficult schedule switch. More fun that way too. Her fiance's family had 7 for dinner, already... we added another 7. Here's DD waiting for food. The BEAUTIFUL pewter toddler setting was used by SIL's fiance, and all his siblings. Maybe if you're interested in the inscriptions, you'll come back to see those pics next time.

So here's my other thought. As I'm preparing for Christmas, I realize there are lots of people for whom I'd love to buy or make presents. Okay, let's say neighbors, elementary school teachers... in particular. I'd like to think I'm a pretty creative person, but sometimes you just need a little inspiration. Clearly, Christmas is around the corner... like 24 days. Eeeek, gads!

What are your favorite homemade gifts? Recipes, crafts? I'm prepared to offer this smart, little, craft apron in a random, I repeat, random drawing on Sunday, Dec. 7 with everyone who comments! I'm currently making these little aprons in all sorts of Holiday fabric for some friends' children this year. Waistband is approximately 13"-14" across, three pockets, and ties are about 16"-18". I'm estimating because I've made a bunch and with some shrinkage, there's a little give-or-take. But, it fits my 6-yr old well (she's small...).

What a cute extra with a toy food/baking set gift, or cookies or candy, an Easy Bake oven?!

So, if you feel inclined, please share some insight and you might just get this in the mail before the Holidays!!

As always, I am a big fan of this as well as all the other things I've seen that you've made. :)
Hey, do you still think you will make it out to the craft show this Sunday? It would be great to see you after all these years. :)

That is so cute!!!  My little ones love to play cooking and that would make a cute addition to their "chef" attire...lol.  You are very talented!!!

Thanks theatregirl26, SusiPants, and Punkin for commenting... was hoping for a few gifty suggestions, but hey, that's okay.  As a girl of my word, a random drawing will be made.  I was going to do it today, but DD is asleep and it is late.  I'll let her pick out of the hat, and post a picture. : )
