So I went to the dentist today to see if I have an abscess tooth and I don't. The dentist said that it looks to him that while I was eating I must have poke a nerve causing it to inflame but it's not tooth related. He suggest that I take ibuprofen(spelling) and it should go away on it's own. If not I have a follow up Dec 16th and a cleaning as well since I'm way over due, that's how much I hate going to the dentist. I do have a cavity near the inflamation but I guess it's just a tiny one. It was still scary though cause while I was waiting for the xray results there was some girl getting her wisdoms pulled and she was really screaming and crying, it sounded as if she was being torchered!!! I didn't know weather I should sit there or run, lol.

I just now saw your comment on my journal post about my tooth. I did have it pulled, and I am glad that I did. It was really giving me a lot of problems. I am glad that yours is not an abscess though. They are very painful and the only thing that would help for a little while was vicodin, which isn't always the best thing to take if you have a little baby around that needs you. Thankfully my kids are old enough to fend for themselves, for the most part.
Goog luck with your tooth issues.
