hasnt anyone ever told you, lifes not fair??

god, i am so so sooooooooooooooooooo sick of the word fair.......

people trying to be so fair to there kids, sk, and everyone, with how MANY gifts, they forget that the most important part of the holidays, and life,  is family, life and love... not how many gifts.. or how much you spend!!!!!

were so broke this christmas that we might 're gift' some of my 3 year olds baby toys for my 7 month old... after all, they are like brand new, and he wont know...

we get our kids usually 4 gifts for christmis... one from mom, one from dad, one from both, and one from santa(though still debating on that)... after all, i was raised that its more about what you give... each year, we choose a family to give a gift to... this year, a very nice lady, and her 3 girls.... and thats better then anything imo....

also, my step mom usued to get us gifts for US... not worrying about how much was spent, or who had more, or the biggest.... just us.... something that we would like... something personal... it was better then having a butt load of money spent on me, cause it made me feel like she NEW ME.... the year my mom died, i was 12... she asked me what i wanted for my birthday, i told her flat out 'a day with just me and you'... i did not get it... she got me other things.... i dont even remember the gifts.... she died two weeks later....

i hardly remember any gifts given to me thew the years... but the ones i do... were personal... like one year she got a cork bord thing for a bulliton bord, but... she personalzed it... cats for me, and sea for my sister.... cause thats what we liked...... it showed that she put THOUGHT into it....

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN. THIS YEAR WE ARE NOT MAKING CHRISTMAS ABOUT GIFTS TO ME THE KIDS WILL REMEMBER FAMILY TIME. WE PLAN ON GOING TO LOOK AT CHRISTMAS LIGHTS, BAKING COOKIES, WATCHING CHRISTMAS MOVIES, AND MAKING A GINGER BREAD HOUSE. I HATE WHEN PEOPLE MAKE IT OUT TO BE ABOUT GIFTS AND MONEY AND HOW MUCH YOU SPEND AND HERS WAS MORE AND HERS IS CHEAP AND SO ON.
