I fully understand when times are hard, you wont get any money for another 2 weeks,  or you just spent all your money on rent and your fridge is empty you would go to a emergency food bank and get some food. to me then thats needed. but when you have a kitchen full of food, pantry full of food, get a steady paycheck plus food stamps, why the heck would you stand your azz in line to get some free emergency food like you are dead poor!!! it frustrates the hell out of me.  my mom does that crap. our house is full of food but she was to get emergency food every week like she doesnt have food. her logic is " it for us to get" no dumbazz its for the people who really need it because they have no means to feed their family, for those people who are standing at the end of the line waiting patiently while 20 sumthing or more people ahead of them really dont' need it and is getting most of it and by the time they get there they get the leftovers.it bs. i know some who are reading this is like you dont know people situation, true but when im drugged in the dang line with my mom or nearby people are all talking about the other areas that have the emergency food and their going to those place after the one they are at. this thanksgiving my mom had me in line for some free turkeys. the place only had 200 tickets we both got one. it took forever but we both got one. i dont even know how to cook a turkey so i dnt need it. so when we left i gave mine to the person that got turned away because all the tickets have been given out. of course mom was pissed like we could have used that or put it in the freezer. im like ummm lets see, you already got a dang turkey in the freezer not to mention the turkey u just got plus u planning on ham and other things....i think we got more than enough to eat and i for dang sure wont miss a turkey i cant even cook nor do i really need.....

couple days ago i was made late for work, its snowing, im about to get dropped off by my mom, she sees this big food depository truck giving out food at a church. shes like let stop and get some. im like look dude i gots to go to work! she makes a b line for the parking lot leaves me in the car. the line is long as crap im losing my mind because its the first day.shes like since she has to sign in the line will be shorter im in the car screaming saying things that probably shouldn't be said in a church parking lot while she waits in line again for food she doesn't need. she thinks im lazy i am but when it comes to that i should be standing in that line because i have hit rock bottom, there is no money nothing to eat not just getting it to be getting it. so since she always draggin me into thses situations i always piss her off by giving whatever i got to that person still waiting outside or at the end of the line that actually needs it......

I talked to a single mom recently who was devastated that she was in a position to go there.  She said as she stood there she watched people ask what they were offering and if they didn't like it they'd leave!  Then she said people were stashing extra bread when they had been asked to only take one.  My mom also said she was donating her extra eggs from her organic farm to the food bank when the chickens were producing extra and the workers would take them and put them aside for themselves.  I am hearing so many stories of families out of jobs, losing homes.  There is going to be a great need soon.  Our salvation army reported a 35% increase already from last year at this time of people who need help.  Tell your mom.  Good for you for doing the right thing.

You are doing the right thing, don't change...Some people just don't "get it", they never have enough and they cheat they system and the people that are really in need. Kudos to you for knowing the difference between right and wrong.
