My first adventure of being a mom......Breastfeeding. How have woman lived without lactation nurses? Marcus and I are not very coordinated. How many people does it take to feed a baby? In my case 3 but after going over the steps and having the nurse teach Marcus how to suck, we are getting the hang of it. Im so happy we have had 3 succcessful feeding today and were going for a 4th!! I cant believe how lucky I am!! Ever nurse I have had thus far has been pleasant and patient making sure that I know what I am doing before we head home tomorrow. In fact here comes my baby now!!

Keep it up! Silas didn't want to eat the first day but we finally got it down! The nurses are great and bfing is just wonderful! Silas has gained so much weight and gotten so long just from the boob! He's HUGE!! He's long enough now that he can kick himself off of anything that is beside me and he thinks it's a game! He is such a goofy baby. We're here for you if you need us! (this is my 1st time too). Maybe we could give each other advice and support! Good luck and cograts!
