Following this wonderful thread to give props to a mom I haven't met yet! This was started by cafemommer dsteiner23
"I decided I am going to find a mom on here who I don't know, haven't seen or had any contact with, and write three (or more) nice things about her, just because I can. I'm going to call it a "pleasantary" - like a pleasant commentary. So, I found a mom, checked out her page and here's what I have to say about....."
1. She turned 30 yesterday! HAPPY 30th! I turned 30 in July-it really has been awesome so far-so let go of any over 30 fears! YOU ROCK!
2. She is originally from Texas and longs to get back there! IM SO WITH YA SISTA! LOVE ME SOME TEXAS!
3. She is a woman of strong faith and is actually a fundy-me too! Its so strange that I just found her out of nowhere-we have tons in common and I have never seen her around!
4. She loves her husband very, very, VERY much! You all know how I am about my hubbalicious! If you can live with any man you have a heart overflowing with love! hehe Love is spilling over the edges of her page!
5. Shes a mom of 2 boys-its a rough and blessed road we walk! =)
6. She seems like a mom that takes a stand for whats important to her and what she believes in! To me-that takes so much character, confidence, and faith! AWESOME attributes I love in my friends!
I hope you have a blessed Holiday Charlie98-and may this be the beginning of a new friendship!
Love and Hugs

Jill, awesome post!!! You said some really great things about this lady!!!! She sounds like a great person to get to know.....
I turned 31 yesterday, am a fundy, and live in Texas! It sounds like we are soul mates...lol!
Great choice, Jill :)
Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you so much for this wonderful journal that you wrote about me. The Lord is so good, and He knew that I needed this today. What a tremendous blessing! It's amazing that you can tell so much about me from the little things you read on my page. =) I do love my hubby and my wonderful boys, and my Lord! Thank you for touching my heart! I will pay it forward! =)
Fundy-Independent Fundamental Baptist-a little pet name we've been given! hehe
conservative in most ways, mostly still use the KJV bible, very focused on soulwinning for Christ, etc...
Hey - spread the Fundy Love! Tee hee!
You religious hardliners!
How cool that you found a mom at random that you have so much in common with...just like I did! I bet some new friendships might just blossom out of this wonderful Ode-Fest!
You know what I love about Charlie98? She's not afraid to examine her religion and ask the tough questions. If you're going to commit not only to the Christian faith, but to a fairly demanding denomination - you better know why and be up to the task - and Charlie seems to be very committed and informed, while still being concerned for the repuation of her denomination. Very cool indeed.
I think of a fundy as a very religious person. I'm not a Fundamental Baptist.

A Boy with Autonomic Dysfunction - The Miller Family
Our Special Life
Oliver was born after having suffered a stroke while in his mother's womb. The resulting brain injury is called Dysautonomia (Autonomic Dysfunction). His doctors believe the stroke was the result of the miscarriage of his twin. Oliver is completely blind and his underdeveloped brain stem makes basic physical functions a challenge. In spite of all this, he is a happy, go-lucky, 12-year-old boy, and his mom wants people to meet the real Oliver, not just his medical hardships.
