Our Counseling Appointment Yesterday

We went to our first counseling appointment yesterday.Which was a fun experiance to say the least.We got there signed in and had to fill out this form about our feelings.And then it got off to a a great start.The doctor came in the waiting room and said I will see Cynthia first.I was like who.He said Mrs.Mefford.I said I was Mrs.Mefford and my name sure wasn't Cynthia.He said ok.We get back to his little room and he says I wonder why they have Cynthia down as your name.I said that is my husbands first wife and no I do not want to be called that.The doctor said ok and quickly marked that name out and put mine down.Then he goes on to explain as to what they do and hope to accomplish and yada yada.He then says are there any adultry or affair issues.And you know how outspoken I am.I said Hell no,there isn't any affair or adultry issues not from me or him.I said my husband knows I would cut his dick off and shove it down his throat if he were to do that.The doctors eyebrows quickly raised.I said sorry wrong choice of words but I am just outspoken.He said ok and quickly wrote in his little notepad,lol.He probably thinking I am crazy or something.I spent 30 minutes talking to him by myself  about our family and marriage.Then it was Matt's turn to talk and tell his version of everything.The doctor said after listening to us both there are some issues to work on but nothing major.Mainly communicationand how we express our feelings to each other.The kids got a referal to see someone that mainly deals with children.That way everyone gets some help.I know it was only our first appointment and I don't know what was said with Matt and the doctor.I only got a hint.Cause afterwards Matt says I am sorry I don't tell you how much I apprciate everything you do.You do alot baby for me and the kids and we just don't tell you thank you enough and that is going to change I promise.Me and Matt both feel that this going to help not only our marriage but our family.Make it stronger than ever.We go back next week.
