Wow! I can't believe how fast babies grow up! Rachel is 4 1/2 months and is beginning to be able to scoot forward a little bit. She's still working on not letting her toes slip out from under her-lol! It seems like only yesterday she would cuddle up on my chest and fall asleep...she's gained about 6 pounds and has grown 4 inches! I think my favorite part of the day is when I get her up in the morning. She sees me and bursts into the biggest smile!! :-) :-) But then there's the times when she's playing on her tummy...she'll scoot a little and then get frustrated and turn onto her back. And then almost immediately turn back over and start trying to move again! Sometimes she'll just do a complete roll (maybe for something different to do-lol). And she'll look at me afterwards and waits to see me smile and laugh. As soon as I do she starts laughing! I'm so excited for her first Christmas! She painted a bunch of gingerbread men for me and I've hung them up. I cut out the shape of them from brown paper and then she fingerpainted on them. After they dried I punched a hole on each hand. I cut pieces of red Christmas ribbon and curled them and strung the gingerbread men together. I have them hung up on one wall of the living room now. :-) I love that even though she's little she can still help decorate and have fun!
Not a very good picture and it looks kinda tacky from it but it actually looks pretty good in real life-lol! Anyways, I started out writing this to say something that I never said and that I can't remember...I'm tired and exhausted so I'm going to go to bed. :-) Sorry about this pointless rambling post!
