I see how much we are able to give our kids during the holidays (and any day) and know that there are those less fortunate.  My dh and I just talked about this yesterday.  We already gave money to a homeless shelter for a Thanksgiving meal for a family of 5, I've given to bell ringers for the Salvation Army, and I'm planning to donate to toys for tots.  I know how hard it is for these families for my own sister's family is one of them and now also her kids' families.

Please, if you can, help those less fortunate than you this holiday season.  You'll make someone's holiday much brighter!
