Trying not to dry up! He won't take formula.

I went to the Dr. Monday & he said that Gavyn's weight percentile dropped dramatically, he has only gained 1/2 lb in 3 months! I feed him solids 3x a day & was still breastfeeding 2 or 3 times, but he wasn't getting fatter. Thanksgiving kinda screwed up our routine because we were out of town & introducing new foods. I thought that since he was eating so many solids & pooping like a champ, he was getting enough nutrients. He apparantly is not getting that good fat from my milk though. I have to admit, he is almost 7mos & I thought I could start weaning him a little (not completely, but some). I only breastfead my daughter 3mos & am determined to feed him longer. Also, he has the 2 bottom teeth (ouch!) and is getting the top ones any day now. That was another reason I was introducing more solids & less milk. The Dr. told me to take fenugreek (4 pills 3x a day for 10 days & then slowly decrease dosage) so far it has only been one day so I am hoping this will help. He also mentioned the milk thistle, but I haven't gotten it yet. I have also been trying to pump everytime I think of it, but barely any comes out unless it is middle of night or early am. Doc said to do it anyway so It would stimulate my pituitary gland into making more. The other problem I am having is that until I get my supply back up, he told me to supplement. Gavyn wants nothing to do with formula. He will push itaway & cry the saddest tears you ever saw when I try to give him a bottle. I have tried ones with different nipples, then I thought maybe it is just the bottle so I gave him watered down juice & he drank it right up. I don't blame him for not liking formula, but I am afraid he is going to wither away to nothing if he doesn't take a little. I don't like him on it either, but it is just until I make enough milk to stop the bottle. I have to take him back in 3 weeks & Dr wants him to gain at least 1/2 lb. He weighs 15 lbs now. How can I get my supply back up and get him to take formula in the time being?
