Fire detroyed their home... Osceola Missouri

Last night I called Charlotte and Ricky - two dear, friends to just say a hello.  Her land phone was disconnected and I thought this was odd... I called her cell phone and I was told that their home burned down - completely distroyed their home.  It burned to the ground - appears as though the fire started in the basement but they are still investigating to determine the origin.

I thank God that no one was hurt and if you live in or near the Osceola Area in Missouri the local Church has a fund started to help them out.

They have a 4 year old son and a 16 year old daughter.  If anyone wants to send prayers or wishes I am sure you can reach them through the local churches.  I know they are staying with a friend and church member from where they worship in the area.  BTW...Thanks Mary Belle for helping Charlotte and Ricky and their family!

Charlotte and I have known each other for over 25 years.  She married my hubby's best friend Rick - he has known him over 25 years ... BFF's forever!

I feel so far away at a time when I know she and her family need me.  If you are in the area and can check on them for me - please give 'em my love and a hug or two!  Charlotte has heard me speak of my CafeMom Friends/Sisters and all we share.  She has been part of many a prayer chain.  She does not have Internet or I am sure she would be a CafeMom to! 

If you see her - give her my love.  They have received a lot of things to replace their losses from many who have just reached out to help.  It is so incredible what so many have done.

Since I have known her so long I want to try and replace the photos she lost of her family with some that I have.  I think she will like this.

Keep them in your prayers.
