Do you paint your nails? What's your fav color?

I'm about to take off my week old polish, trying to decide what color to paint them now.  It's been ages since I've kept them painted, figure we'll see how long I can keep it up while I'm thinking about it, instead of just picking it off!  think I'll go for one of my favs, a green/blue/purpley color.  I Love the way it makes my nails/fingers look!

Do you paint your nails?  Do you tend to chip/pick it off after a day or two, or do you leave it on for a while?  Do you get them done at a salon?  What's your fav color to paint them and why?

Apr. 17, 2007 at 12:54 AM sometimes i paint them..when i have time. im actually good at leaving it alone and i dont pick at it. I use clear undercoat then 2 coats of whatever color and clear top coat that usually keeps it from flaking off. I like the purple blu and green colors too lol but i love the deep deep reds those are my favs. i just love the color of it dont really have a reason

Apr. 24, 2007 at 6:09 PM Well, sorry I didn't see your journal post til now! Anyway, I do paint mine. Usually a light color, that way if they chip or it wears off, you can't hardly tell. I usually do them every 2 to 3 days though. I used to get them done in a nail salon and always had a french manicure. I still love that. But, can't afford it now that I don't work. Once I get a part time job, I will so be jumpin on that!!!!!!!!!!!

Jun. 1, 2007 at 4:52 PM I ALWAYS paint mine......I volunteer at my sons school and the kids can't wait to see what color I will show up with. Purple, blue, yellow, black, pink...lol  Anything, the wilder the better, I'm like a little kid!

Feb. 21, 2008 at 11:18 AM I have ugly hands so I don't usually paint  my nails, I don't want to draw attention to my hands :)....is that weird?

My nails are currently a bright purply color.  Surprised it's lasted almost a week!  But it's chipped, so I'll be redoing it soon.  Blue or pink? decisions decisions!
