Santa

I was brought up with the whole Santa thing so my kids are too.  I remember I really thought there was a Santa until I was thirteen.  I wonder if my kids will last that long.  I also let them know the true meaning of Christmas by taking them to see a living Nativity each December.  We incorporate Santa, but they also know it is Jesus' birthday.  We bake Jesus a birthday cake and sing him Happy Birthday each Christmas.  Christmas Eve we make cookies for Santa, read Christmas stories together, then before they go to sleep we leave out cookies for santa and carrots for the raindeer.
