Thanks for the support

This post is for all of my friends that have been so supportive through the last 31 days.

Quick update on my mom.... she is holding her own. Kidney's are steady, liver function has improved slightly and they are working on the fungal infection in her lungs.....

I wanted to say thank you for the prayers, the love, the phone calls, the chatterbox messages and the cards... just knowing you are there ready to listen when I need to cry is such a wonderful feeling.

Special thanks and shout out to BABS73.... as most of you know she is a very close friend in my day to day life and her sister Cookee is my Jake's day care provider. She organized a party of 8 elves...

The elves came to my house and cleaned it from top to bottom, did all of the laundry, organized Jake's room, my room, cleaned my refridgerator, put up my Christmas tree... she had a group of guys come in and do home repair, they planted flowers out front, put up all of my exterior holiday displays, cleaned up the backyard and cleaned and organized my garage.... in other words they were my own special team of angels.... Cookee is still doing laundry.... if there was something made of cloth then she is washing it...

I can never express in the feelings of absolute gratitude and relief of mind this team of elves brought to me... but I wanted everyone to know that there are wonderful people in this world and I am so lucky that some of them care about me...... I came home Wednesday night and spent 45 minutes sitting and crying... I know that I do not deserve this type of outpouring of love.....but I am so honored to have recieved it....

Yes, there is a God... I know because he put his angels here on earth... I love you guys.

I am so glad to hear your Mom is doing better. I think it will be wonderful when you can bring her home. I know she misses her home.

WOW! that is amazing about your friends.You know, you always find out who your true friends are in times like these and I say you have some pretty awesome friends there!

That is very special Teri.  I believe you do deserve it; I know I haven't been around and didn't know about your mother so I'm sorry; the best I can do is send some hugs now, after reading this post.  You've got a lot going on and the "mundane" everyday tasks get swept aside (house cleaning, laundry, organization, even Christmas decorations); it can all be overwhelming and your friends and loved ones know that.  They want to help you so you have a few less things to worry about especially during this trying time with caring for your mother.  (((hugs))) and Merry Christmas; it sounds like you got an early Christmas present this year :}
