I've been seeing my OB for my entire pregnancy and for about a year before I got pregnant. He's incredibly smart, kind of lacks bedside manner, but I feel secure that he can get the job done.

I plan on doing a natural birth--bradley method. He says he's behind me with whatever I do because it's my choice.

My Bradley teacher suggests I switch to a midwife. I'm not sure what to do. The biggest problem I'm feeling with my doctor is that he doesn't have time for me. It feels like we're always rushing and I spend ten minutes tops actually talking to him. I'm supposed to do my glucose screening test next appointment and he didn't give me any instructions on eating, but now I hear I'm not supposed to eat for 4 hours before. Seems like something he should have told me.

I want to hear people's experience with their OBs and Midwives. Good and bad.

I would switch.  A midwife is more likely to help you with a natural birth. They also seem more sensitive and calm to me.
